The song was written by Avril, Max Martin, and Shellback, and is the second single from her fourth album Goodbye Lullaby. Avril filmed the music video a few weeks ago and is expected to be released later this month.

Lip-sync fest

Britney Spears has released some footage from rehearsals for her Femme Fatale Tour, and it proves what we all already knew: we're in for another lip-synch fest. With the admission prices she is charging, how dare she put her audiences up with this fraud? I hope her fans are a little smarter this time, and simply refuse to buy any tickets.

Vote for J.Lo

Thank you to the 13 people who voted on last week's poll 'Britney Spears vs Christina Aguilera'. Here are the results:

Britney Spears: 4 votes

From Russia with love

According to ticket vendors and, Tori Amos will be returning to Russia for a second appearance in as many years at Moscow’s Crocus City Hall on Sunday, October 2nd.

Both agencies are selling tickets to the performance now and you can even select seats directly at However, as with the Vienna date, neither Tori’s management nor the venue have confirmed this concert yet so take that into consideration before making a decision to purchase tickets. Hopefully, though, there will be an official announcement about this apparent Autumn tour soon so those kinds of questions and concerns can be put to rest.

Time to announce a show at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam!

I bought myself the new Jennifer Lopez album Love? today. If anyone was wondering if she was able to pull off her comeback: hell yes she is! Hit single On The Floor already proved she was more than ready to dominate the charts once again, as she did in the late 90s and early 00s, but this new record proves J.Lo is back just as good as she was back then! Here's the tracklist:

On The Floor
Good Hit
I'm Into You
(What is) Love?
Run The World
Until It Beats No More
One Love
Invading My Mind
Staring Over

I'm LOVING this new album!

Anti tour

Kylie Minogue talked about a possible 'anti-tour' she would do after the Aphrodite Les Folies Tour:

“I don’t know how soon I would rush in to doing another pop album. I’m definitely looking into opportunities of collaborations or different performances that will keep fans satisfied, keep my interest up. And one of those things is the possibility of doing an anti-tour. Because my tours are bigger and bigger, there’s so much talk about the spectacle—and that’s fantastic, that’s what I want to create. But I feel like, as with all parts of my life, what I try to do is find a balance. I’ve never done anything like that before, something like an anti-tour where there are no dancers, there are no lights. It’s just music and doing songs that are much loved by super fans but will never, ever, ever be heard anywhere—and certainly not in a live environment. I’m talking about B-sides or songs that were never meant to see the light of day, songs that were leaked but turned out to be quite popular. Certain covers I’ve done. Covers I haven’t yet done. I think it would be really cool to be in a tiny, tiny venue, maybe to like a week’s run somewhere and just strip everything back—just do songs that uber-fans would cry for. Not songs that I can do in this kind of environment, like the tour that I’m on now. That’s one of a few different ideas, but that’s one that I think we could probably pull together without too much fuss. I think the hard thing would be choosing the songs.”

How AMAZING would that be? I can't wait, bring it on, Kylie!
